As I grew up, there was a constant in my life, feeling not good enough and unaccepted by the world around me. Imagine young Seyarra wearing her round glasses her parents bought and getting boobs in before everyone else, resulting with being mocked on daily by the "popular crowd" because in their world I am either ugly or believed to be a stuffer. From there I felt like I had to push harder and try harder to prove not only my boobs were real but I am worthy of being seen and accepted; welcoming the era of Seyarra sexualizing herself for others.

 

What younger Seyarra needed was someone supporting her; telling her how amazing she is as her authentic self, reminding her that she doesn't need to prove anything, and beneath it all that being sexual and sensual should not be a pressured response but one of love.

 

So I chose to create that support, that space, that knowledge for the women now and the women of generations to come; whether it's telling my girls "You are both beautiful and powerful beings", healing my inner child, or offering a beauty and boudoir session to another woman...that's why.
